Land Judging CDE

was held on December 2nd at East Bladen High School. Our
team members included: James Bullock, Patrick McGraw, and

Tractor & Truck Driving CDE
| The Three
Rivers Federation Truck and Tractor Driving Career
Development Events were held on November 18th at East
Columbus High School. WCHS FFA Members competing were as
follows: Truck -- Billy Fields and Nick Hardin Tractor -- Justin Hayes and Bradley Turbeville WCHS FFA DOMINATED the Truck Driving CDE placing first and second. Nick come in first and Billy was 3 points behind in second place. Way to go guys! In the Tractor Driving CDE, Justin placed 5th with a great score! Bradley said that he has three more years to win! Good job guys! Nick Hardin competed on the state level at the Southern Farm Show in Raleigh and won! That's right! Nick is the state winner in the Truck Driving CDE! Congratulations Nick!

Tool Identification CDE
| The Three
Rivers Federation Tool Identification CDE was held at Tar
Heel High School on March 22nd. The WCHS FFA Team placed
FIRST in the federation! Team members include: Spanky Strickland - 2nd high individual Chad Bartley - 3rd high individual Tommy Czerniak - 4th high individual Jason Williamson - 4th high individual These guys competed in the state competition at the State Convention on June 14th. Congratulations for representing WCHS well!

Creed Speaking CDE

Rivers Federation Creed Speaking CDE was held at Tar Heel
High School on March 22nd. The WCHS FFA Creed Speaker was
Christine McPherson. She placed first in the federation
and third at the regional rally in May. Chris placed second in the
state at
the NC FFA State Convention. Congratulations!

Agricultural Sales CDE
The WCHS Agricultural Sales Team competed in the State Career Development Event on Friday, March 17th at North Carolina State University. The team placed first in the federation, third in the region and tenth over-all in the state. Team members include Joshua Chenier, James Bullock, Jody Williamson, and Heather Cutchin. Congratulations on a job well-done!
Dairy Judging CDE
The WCHS Dairy Judging Team competed in the Regional Rally on May 3rd at Wayne Community College. The team placed first in the federation and sixth in the region. Team members include Brett Barnhill, James Bullock, Jody Williamson, and James Bartley. Congratulations on a job well-done!
Floriculture CDE
The WCHS Floriculture Team competed in the Regional Rally on May 3rd at Wayne Community College. The team placed first in the federation and ninth in the region. Team members include Becky Nobles, Priscilla Smith, and Heather Cutchin. Congratulations on a job well-done!
Livestock Judging CDE
The WCHS Livestock Judging Team competed in Regional competition in April at the Sampson County Livestock Arena. The team placed first in the federation. Team members include Brett Barnhill, James Bullock, Justin Hayes, and James Bartley. Congratulations on a job well-done!
