The "Bullet's" propulsion systems consists of a submersible electric permanent magnet 24/36 volt DC motor with a static thrust rating of 65/105 lbs. The motor mounting shaft rotates for steering, giving greater control than the use of a rudder. The motor is protected by a skeg allowing the boat to slip over or be pulled across obstacles.
The power is delivered to the motor through Pulse
Width Modulation (PWM) for maximum control and efficiency, fully variable speed in
forward and reverse. High bypass allows for operation at low battery conditions or
for top speed in close situations. Steering tiller at left hand has all controls and
amp meter at the right hand. Options include light and a bilge pump.
The seat for the operator is slightly higher than the passengers seat for better visibility. A well for dry storage, ice or flooded for use as a fish well is directly behind the operator's seat. The batteries can be placed under the operators seat and the front seat in a manner as to "trim" out the boat depending on the load placement. The "Bullet" can be handled from a truck bed but is best trailered. Standard exterior hull color is dark green.
